Lately a lot of pro and contra regarding the procedure for the election of local government leaders in Indonesia,
Direct election of regional democratic procedures may be applied in Indonesia is different when first selected by the Assembly and the House of Representatives.
On the other hand run with 100% direct election is indeed a very good way for the future of Indonesia. But that should be seen is the human mindset. Indonesia is an independent country since 1945 and it's been 69 years away from the other countries that have more independent first and Democracy apply well, but I'm sure it's also not 100% democracy it might not run perfectly.
Indonesia still has a society which is actually far behind his mindset on how they choose to consider their future and that is at stake is the next 5 years of his life. There are many who say "Anyone who would be president no effect with my life".
And judging from the present as well as the achievement of cases that arise when direct elections is a sign that Indonesia is not yet ready.
